Yusia Xiao, also known as Fishhead, is a cartoonist/illustrator currently based in New York. They are graduating from School of Visual Arta with a BFA in Comics in May 2026.
Yusia specialize in character design and storytelling, and tends to work digitally or in watercolor. They are, however, also familiar in oil painting, 3d modeling, risograph printing, woodworking, metalworking, making sea lion sounds, and video editing.
Recently they have been chipping away at their original graphic novel Children of the Garden, fallen in love with interactive comics, and starting recording more auto-bio stories.
